N.B.S: Networking Business Solutions- The Multi-Talented ..... .Ms. Marlou

    Unique Marlou is the Founder/CEO four different businesses, which can be very hard to juggle at times. Miahmy Marlou Productions is one of the businesses that she manages as well as promotes Hip Hop Artist and Comedians. The maintenance of this business requires the skills associated with: editing, directing, producing, videography, and writing of movie Scripts, music & commercials.

   Unique was born and raised in Chicago’s Englewood area; being the youngest of her siblings she had many dreams as a young girl. She also knew that her mom struggled financially but still managed to make ends meet and provide her family with the things that they needed. Unique states “I did everything positive trying to us assist my mother so we could have better life” because she wanted to help support her family in everyway possible. She started rapping at an early age, writing music, drawing, writing children stories and poems. Unique’s mother really didn’t believe that she had so many talents until she talked to her mother about all her accomplishments.

   Unique also works with Sisters and Brothers Ambition Social Club/Non-for-Profit which has been established as a business in 2009. The organization offers different services for those in need throughout communities within the Chicagoland area. Their main focus is to help with trouble teens, accommodate Senior Citizens with a variety of services, raise money for those who are in need through fundraising and different events. They provide assistance through Coat and Food Drives that are organized throughout the year. Unique’s recently experienced one of the biggest event with S.B.W.A; the Back to School Event with 92.3 Radio & Zelly’s Full Service Designs. The event gave nearly 200 boys and girls free haircuts and hairdos with book bags filled with school supplies.

   Unique is truly a woman of many skills; she works with the AlphaBet Cancer Foundation that consist of helping cancer victims raise money for unaffordable treatments. The foundation acts as a family and a dependable source that helps victims and their families throughout through hard times. ABC is an upcoming business that’s trying to establish itself with the help of donations and sponsorships of any kind. Lastly, Unique's Sweets & Gifts which has been established late end of 2011 and it has been doing wonderful. Unique Sweets & Gifts deals with baking just about every bake good from cupcakes to miniature cakes and the gifts are from glass designing to special occasion gift baskets. Unique has made many commitments and she informed me that it is a lot to handle but she is pressing forward.

   Unique feels that she has accomplished her goals with applying all of her skills and knowledge by helping her community. She is also doing what she loves to do by working in the entertainment field with artist. Unique spent many years going to school to become a lawyer, but ended up obtaining her degree in Business Management at Chicago State University. She began working as a Case Manager for Maximus but she had a burning desire to work in Entertainment. After spending 6 years at Maximus with no progression in her position; she decided to enroll in school for TV and Radio Broadcasting at ICB- Chicago. Attending school at the Illinois Center for Broadcasting gave her the training and sources needed to become successful in her business.

   Unique stated "The more I matured the more my dreams expanded." Her life is different and much better because she receives support from her mother and now she is inspired by her twin boys. They are her cheerleaders and that keep her filled with motivation. One of her favorite quotes "Patience is everything, soon your time will come" Lil Rell comedian and actor of the new In Living Color.
