Being exposed to a variety of rap music, gives you the ability to find interest in the style, rhythm and word play that many artist offer to their listeners. Music is acknowledged when it can be related to and fans can mostly compare their struggles as well as life journeys through artist. Some unknown artist are known for just that but the most successful artist are recognized for networking, providing entertainment through shows and collaboration with other unknown artist in the industry. If you desire to support someone that has ultimate goals beyond the music and entertainment industry you should check out "Ho$$e" Lyricist from Chicago, IL.
He informed me that he has been "rapping all his life and it has been his passion to be in the music industry since youth". Ho$$e attended Proviso East for high school and he started rapping his freshmen year it wasn't until he graduated in 2005 that he decided to take it seriously. After high school he attended Harold Washington College for 2 years and worked at Jewel Osco in the customer service department. He became motivated to push further because of his love for music; and wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. He says "I came from nothing so I wanna give back by helping my community one day". However, Ho$$e realizes that he can't support anyone until he can become successful in the industry by helping himself as well as his family. He says "my grind will never stop Lord willing".
"Ho$$e" describes his wordplay as slick and witty by delivering some the illest metaphors and punchlines to his music. He has laidback but yet hard hitting flow to his music; and gives the free style sounds of his heavy grinding. Ho$$e's has been mostly influenced by the following artist; Jay-z, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Pusha T and Jeezy.
